Challenges
Achieving outline planning approval whilst respecting the local landscape; preserving native hedgerows and trees; managing steep existing topography and adjacency to retail facilities.
Design Response
A low-density, high-calibre residential scheme featuring 15 detached, 34 semi-detached and 3 townhouses. The diverse housing mix supports balanced community living. The sustainable design incorporates spacious plots harmonising with local character, attractive street frontages, focal buildings, green spaces, recreation areas and walking–cycling connections to the town centre and services.
